TEKNOS DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG (semi gloss)
DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG is a water-borne low-film building product for non-dimensional stable applications such as exterior wood constructions, wood sidings or cladding and wooden sheds.

DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG gives excellent colouration of the wood with translucent colours. For semi-opaque colours, the wood structure is less visible. The product has good penetration into the wood, good adhesion on natural wood species, and forms a thin film layer in two or more layers.
The product is water-repellent and does not chalk.
DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG will typically be applied as a primer, intermediate and topcoat on substrates such as softwood, Accoya and modified wood. All softwood, non-durable hardwood and Accoya for exterior use should be pretreated.
For planed thermally modified wood, the DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG is not suitable. In this case, you should use TEKNOCLAD 3370-XX or TEKNOCLAD 3371-XX.
For fine-sawn thermally modified wood, the DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN VV SG is not suitable for translucent colours. Instead, you should use TEKNOCLAD 3370-4X or TEKNOCLAD 3371-4X.
Surface Preparation
The wood must be free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 18%. Pretreatment is required for wood substrates not meeting Durability Class 3, EN 350:2016. Application Conditions
Stir thoroughly before use. Optimum temperature for products and surroundings: +15°C - +30°C. Optimum relative humidity of the air is 50-70%.
Storage
Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Shelf life in unopened containers: See “Best before date” on the label. Keep containers tightly closed after use.
