Suitable Applications and How to Use
Helmi Furniture Lacquer 30 is intended for wood surfaces in dry interior spaces. Recommended applications include:
Tables, chairs and bookshelves
Wooden furniture and cabinets

Stained wood surfaces requiring a protective lacquer
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants. Prepare and sand the wood as appropriate for the existing finish, then remove all sanding dust. When applying over a stained surface or an existing coating, test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Application: Apply an even coat using a suitable brush, sponge or spray equipment. Allow the lacquer to dry, then sand lightly if required before applying further coats. Follow the manufacturer's current technical data sheet for the recommended coating system and application conditions.
Drying and curing: The lacquer is dust-dry in approximately 30 minutes and can generally be sanded and recoated after 2–3 hours. The surface is ready for use the following day, but reaches its final hardness after approximately two weeks. Avoid heavy use, cleaning, and placing hot or sticking objects on the surface during the curing period.
Important: This product is not intended for wooden floors. Use a dedicated floor lacquer for flooring applications.
