Finngard Opaque offers superb weather resistance, anti-carbonation properties, elastomeric flexibility and an extremely durable finish which protects against attack from chemical and biological erosion and ensures low maintenance.
 
Finngard Opaque is suitable for new or previously painted exterior surfaces including roughcast, pebbledash, concrete, cement rendering, building blocks and boards, surfaces with cracking.
 
Finngard Opaque is not recommended for use on surfaces previously coated with lime paint. Finngard Opaque is suitable for application over elastic crack repair compounds and can be used as part of render repair systems.
 
Why do decorators and homeowners love Finngard Opaque?
Tikkurila Finngard Opaque is a true hydrophobic paint, meaning it repels water (a bit like a freshly waxed car) so dirt and other deposits simply get washed away with rain, making this a truly unique and "self-cleaning paint".   Tikkurila Finngard Opaque is also elastomeric, so it with stretch and flex over small movement cracks in render and blockwork, whereas regular masonry paints will crack with building movements, losing their seal and allowing the elements under the paint which ultimately will cause a falure and delamination.
 
Application by brush, spray or roller, Finngard Opaque is touch dry under normal conditions in 1 hour and re-coatable after 2 - 4 hours.
