Akvi Isolator Akvi Isolator is a water-based acrylate primer.
Isolating Primer

Excellent Sanding Properties
Akvi Primer is an all-round primer for furniture, doors, moulding and other wooden surfaces. The primer has outstanding sanding properties, thus making it suitable for fast production lines.
Fast-drying Primer
Akvi Primer dries fast even at room temperature and can be overcoated either with water or solvent-based products. Particularly well suited to spray application.

Preparation
Remove dust, loose particles and other impurities from the surface. Wood surfaces must be sanded with sandpaper P150–320. Sanding prior to the next application with sandpaper P240–400. A l sanding dust must be removed.
Recommended spreading amounts (unthinned) wet 80–120 g/m² Theoretical coverage dry 24–35 µm 11–18 m²/l
Practical coverage depends on the application method, conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be treated.
Matt White Finish - can not be tinted
Recommended Top Coats: Akvi Top DS25 (which can be tinted)

Dust dry, 5–10min (+23 degrees centigrade)
Touch Dry, 10-15min (+23 degrees centigrade)
Dry to sand, 15-20min (+23 degrees centigrade)
Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation
