Dead Flat from Farrow & Ball, five years of development and refinement prior to its launch in late 2023.
Dead Flat paint is loved for the following reasons
Ultra flat matt finish - a low 2% sheen making it ideal for walls and ceilings
Dead Flat paint is a multi-surface paint that can also be used on woodwork and metal, if you fancy a colour drenched room then Dead Flat not only delivers the same colour but also the same finish throughout for an elegant interior designers look.
Despite its velvet flat look and feel, Dead Flat is remarkably durable paint, scuff resistant and washable too. An outstanding paint for modern day living, family life and high traffic areas.
Water-based paint formulation with low VOC formula which is also certified toy safe.
What makes Farrow & Ball Dead Flat paint finish so premium
Dead Flat is high in clay solids from Cornish and Devon mines, this helps Dead Flat have a chalky paint finish with depth that gently absorbs light like no other paint. This finish enhances Farrow & Ball colours in way that other brands can't replicate even with equivalent colour matches.
Applying Dead Flat
Match quality with quality, use a premium paint brush and roller set, you'll notice the difference. Two coats are always recommended and if you are making a big colour change from [say] a white wall to a dark blue colour it's worth considering the Farrow & Ball coloured primer coats to help get the paint colour change quicker and delivering the depth of finished colour required.
