For best results, make sure the surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. Remove any loose or flaking material, and repair damaged areas. On the surface, deep level differences should be treated with repair mortars and slight level differences should be treated with masonry filler, and then sanded. Glossy surfaces should be sanded down to provide a key. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.

Thinning the paint with water and proper loading of the brush are crucial for success.

Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers, before cleaning with warm soapy water. Do not empty paint into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paint. Replace the lid firmly.

Store and move in dry conditions in a secure upright position. Protect from direct sunlight, frost and extreme temperatures.
