Suitable for structural steel including railings, fencing and machinery.
 
A single pack water thinned, air drying, rust converter, pigmented with zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigments.
 
Recommended Areas of Use
Intended for the treatment and passivation of surface rust on all hand or mechanically prepared rusty ferrous surfaces. Especially suited for objects which may be difficult to sand blast such as; fences, iron railings, guttering and outdoor fixtures.
 
Additional information: The colour will change to black when the rust conversion has taken place.
 
Suitable for: Steel mechanically prepared to SIS St 3, by wire brush and disc or hand abrading
 
Suitable for use on structural steel and machinery.
Converts low level corrosion to an inert substrate for painting.
Water resistant film with good anticorrosive properties.
Can be applied over slightly damp surfaces.
Non-flammable. Low odour.
 
Application Information
Stir thoroughly before use. Application and use should always conform to the codes of practice described in BS 6150 and BS 5493. Brush application is strongly recommended and is the preferred application method for best performance.
 
Brush and Roller - Supplied ready for use. Thin with 0 - 5% water if required.
 
Conventional Air Spraying - Thin with 10 - 20% water as required, tip size - 2.0mm, tip pressure 60psi (0.4MPa) approximately.
 
Airless Spraying - Thin with 0 - 15% water as required, tip size - 18 thou (0.46mm) approximately, tip pressure - 2100 psi (15MPa) approximately.
 
Cleaning - Clean all equipment with water immediately after use for best results.
