Tikkurila Otex
High-adhesion, solvent-based primer for wood, MDF and tricky surfaces. Matt finish, quick drying and can be tinted to aid topcoats depth of colour.
Tikkurila Otex
Tikkurila Otex is a high opacity, strong adhesion primer. Otex dries to a solid base foundation for topcoats of either solvent-based or water-based products.
Ideal for priming / undercoating both new and previously painted surfaces, interior or exteriors.
Otex adheres well to wood, fibreboard, chipboard, MDF, glass, PVC-Plastics, aluminium and zinc coated metal.
Using Tikkurila Otex
Tikkurila Otex has strong hiding power and high adhesion. Being solvent-based Otex requires white spirit or Tikkurila Pensselipesu brush and roller cleaner.
Ensure surfaces are dust free before application, for best results and depth of colour the product can be colour tinted if required. Always store paints in a temperate environment away from extreme heat or cold.
How To Apply Otex
Brush - A brush such as a 1" or 1.5" is ideal
Roller - Use a 4" or 6" short pile roller
Airless Paint Spraying - We recommend either a 210 or 310 spray tip.
Pro-Tips - Lightly sand any surfaces prior to painting and remove any dust. Stir thoroughly, follow manufacturers guidelines for recoat times.
