Tikkurila Helmi Primer
Tikkurila Helmi Primer is a high opacity acrylic primer. Helmi Primer is suited to both new and previously painted wood. Helmi primer is a "Toy safe" M1 category product suited to children's toys and furniture.

Helmi Primer provides an ideal combination for Helmi 10, Helmi 30 and Helmi 80 topcoats which when used together provide a solid working paint system.
Using Tikkurila Helmi Primer
Tikkurila Helmi Primer has strong hiding power and high adhesion. Being water-based Helmi primer can be washed from brushes and rollers with warm soapy water.

Ensure surfaces are dust free before application, for best results and depth of colour the product can be colour tinted if required. Always store paints in a temperate environment away from extreme heat or cold.
How To Apply Helmi Primer
​Brush - A brush such as a 1" or 1.5" is ideal
Roller - Use a 4" or 6" short pile roller
Airless Paint Spraying - We recommend either a 210 or 310 spray tip.
HVLP Spraying - We recommend a slight dilution to suit atomisation.

Pro-Tips - Lightly sand any surfaces prior to painting and remove any dust. Stir thoroughly, follow manufacturers guidelines for recoat times.
