Finngard Silicone Protect
Tikkurila Finngard Silicone Protect, a matt acrylic paint for use on new or previously painted exterior masonry.
Silicone Protect is highly moisture vapour permeable and is ideally suited to roughcast, concrete, pebbledash, lime rendering, building blocks, brickwork and mineral dispersion coatings.
Note: Not recommended for use on surfaces previously coated with elastomeric coatings.
Using Silicone Protect
Tikkurila Finngard Silicone Protect, being water-based Finngard Silicone Protect can be washed from brushes and rollers with warm soapy water.
Ensure surfaces are fungus free and stable before application, for best results and depth of colour the product can be colour tinted if required. Always store paints in a temperate environment away from extreme heat or cold.
How To Apply Silicone Protect
Brush - A brush such as a 2" - 3" is ideal
Roller - Use a medium or long pile 9" or 12" roller
Airless Paint Spraying - We recommend either a 517, 617 or 519 spray tip.
Pro-Tips - Lightly sand any surfaces prior to painting and remove any dust. Stir thoroughly, follow manufacturers guidelines for recoat times.
