Tikkurila Luja Ceramic Tiles
Unlike other tile paints, this ready-to-use, water-based paint can be tinted to any colour and does not require a separate primer, making tile renovation easier, faster and less expensive.
Luja Ceramic Tiles can be used on matt or glossy tiles and can withstand repeated exposure to hot and cold water, shampoos and all purpose cleaners.
The semi-matt surface is easy to keep clean and repels dirt.
Using Tikkurila Ceramic Tiles
Should not be used on self-cleaning or silicone coated tiles. Ensure tiles are grease free and thoroughly cleaned before applying the coating.
Luja Ceramic Tiles is ready to use just 2 days after application and reaches its full strength in 28 days. During this curing period avoid impacts, stress or strong cleaning agents to allow the paint surface to set fully.
How To Apply Ceramic Tiles
Preparation - Use a degreasing agent on the tiles prior to application.
Brush - A brush such as a 1" or 1.5" is ideal
Roller - Use a 4" or 6" short pile roller
Pro-Tips - Lightly sand any surfaces prior to painting and remove any dust. Stir thoroughly, follow manufacturers guidelines for recoat times.
After contact with water the freshly painted surface may become softer, after 30 minutes of drying the surface will return to its original hardness
