Betolux Akva is a versatile water-based, single pack, quick drying floor paint for use on concrete, wood and steel. For untreated new concrete use Betolux Akva Primer to seal and prepare the surface for paint
Ideal for use in homes, schools, hospitals and food preparation areas. Low in VOC's and easy to apply.
Not recommended for residential garages.
Using Tikkurila Betolux Akva
Betolux Akva is low in VOC's so can be used in enclosed areas with little ventilation.
This floor paint is also fast drying enabling fast recoat times and prompt turn around of spaces
Tikkurila Betolux Akva is a water-based product so brushes and rollers can simply be washed out with warm soapy water at the end of the project.
How To Apply Betolux Akva
Preparation - Ensure surfaces are clean and dust free. For painting new (unpainted) concrete use Tikkurila Betolux Primer first to seal the concrete and prime the surface for paint
Brush - A brush such as a 1.5" or 2.5" is ideal
Roller - Use a 4" or 12" medium pile roller
Pro-Tips - Paint all of the edges first, then start at the furthest point away and work your way backwards to the access door .
